Paddington’s adventure in London

Posted by on 11/03/2016

This week we have been writing letters to Aunt Lucy who is a long way away, in Peru! We received a letter from Aunt Lucy asking Class 5 to let her know how Paddington is getting on in England. Each child wrote a letter back to Aunt Lucy explaining about his trip to London with Miss Fitzgerald and all the mischief he has been getting up to! We made sure that we used capital letters for the personal pronoun ‘I’ and proper nouns.

In maths, we have been solving calculations using the inverse. We have learnt that addition is the opposite of subtraction and subtraction is the opposite of addition!

In art this week we have designed our own Tudor houses for our Great Fire of London display that we will be working on over the next couple of weeks.

Here are some photos of us during outdoor learning this week.
